What is it?

The Stories Project seeks to connect diverse global communities by promoting and supporting equitable access to multimedia technologies through the medium of online digital storytelling.

The Stories Project is dedicated to bringing people together by establishing digital storytelling facilities in schools, libraries, and community centers and posting those stories online.

We have a three-fold mission:

1) to provide multi-media technology and educational support to communities so they may use and sustain each storytelling facility/center

2) to promote the sharing of cultural and personal stories via the internet

3) to provide equitable access to 21st-century technology to all communities to help bridge the global gap of distance and the technogical gap of equitable digital access
